Himachal toll tax barrier collection Rs 82 crore

Shimla : There are currently 57 toll barriers across Himachal Pradesh collecting a revenue of Rs 82,21,86,587 crore in the last fiscal year.

 

Replying to a written question in the state assembly here Friday Prakash Chaudhary the state excise and taxation minister said this fiscal the bid price for these toll barriers is Rs 89,02,91,027 crore .  

 

Giving a break up of the toll barriers Chaudhary said Baddi alone had 12 toll barriers . Sirmaur 11 , Nurpur , 11, Una 15 among other places .

 

In another written reply the health minister Kaul Singh said till July this year 58.68 lakh people in the state had made UID(aadhar) cards. Around 9.27 lakh people are still to make UID cards.
