30 lakh Apple boxes so far

Shimla : Himachal Pradesh has so far harvested 29,36,693 this season, a spokesman said here Thursday.

Around 6524 trucks of apple have left the hill state on 16 August to markets across the country.

191 collection centres have been opened for procurement of apples under Market Intervention Scheme (MIS). Out of these 96 centres have been opened by HPMC and 95 by HIMFED.

642.705 metric tonnes has been procured under MIS by HPMC and HIMFED.
